It's never too late to join Pack 172 and we always have spots available for 1st through 5th grade boys. In addition, every May we invite Kindergarteners to join the Pack for our summertime activities. This is a great opportunity for these boys to get a head start on their Scouting experiences.

To foster friendships, each boy is assigned to small group, called Dens, of 4-8 scouts of the same age.

Want to learn some Knots?

Our Webelos met last night to start learning some of the knots they will need as young Boy Scouts - is your Scout interested?  We found a great site:

click on "Scouting."  The site walks you through the steps to make the common knots.  Webelos should learn the Square, Bowline, Clove Hitch, Two Half-Hitches and the Taught Line.

Support those who Support our Scouts

Our cub scout pack operates due to the help, time, and support of both people and organizations.  This is a special thank-you to those companies that have helped our pack by discounting or donating items that we need to run our events.  If you are looking to make a purchase at similar stores, please support these companies instead as a big THANK-YOU FROM PACK 172!!!
